Discussion; WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PURPOSE AND AMBITION IN RELATION TO CHRISTIANITY.

C1: He started by saying Purpose is Truth about you that existed before you exist while Ambition is what you generate in your pursuit to be valuable in Life. You don’t determine purpose, but purpose determines you. But you determine your ambition.
He also said, You are to dance to the Tune of Purpose, you can be popular and not fulfill a purpose but Popularity can be an Ambition (your desire). Purpose is actually the destiny of someone’s Life then the reason for someone aspiration but Ambition is the reason generated after creation to enhance value in Life. So Ambition and Purpose are very different. Most people that have Ambition don’t follow purpose and most people that follow Purpose don’t follow Ambition.
Ambition is produced by your consciousness (Jer 1:5) - I.e the statement here is Purpose or Destiny and the response Jeremiah gave was an Ambition “I’m small, I can’t speak… check Jeremiah Chapter 1.
He concluded that Purpose is Designed by God while Ambition is cooked up by man. By Bro. Nathaniel
C2: He was exited hearing the question and so his view goes thus;He said they are Totally Different! He said purpose is what we Human needs to fulfill and it’s been created by God and been programmed into our life to fulfill here on earth. He made a clear statement that Purpose is a must and not all will fulfill purpose while Ambition is something that we develop and what we have interest in (even if it’s not the will of God) due to what is happening in our Surroundings.
He made an illustration of Mr. A been in a Political field which is His Purpose but due to the honor and the money Mr. B knew is earning he wishes to become one in the Political field which makes the option of Mr. B an Ambition and not a Purpose. It’s not the purpose of God for Mr. B it was an Ambition been created by His desire or things around him.
He made it known that Purpose is been programmed by God! It is not all ambition that glorify God but all Purpose glorify God if discovered. Ambition is the will of man, it’s possible it’s not the will of God. He said God can say your purpose is to become a pastor and you develop an Ambition to become a Politician… He said it’s wrong! It’s different.

Permit me to write as I am inspired on, WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PURPOSE AND AMBITION IN RELATION TO CHRISTIANITY.
Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. It’s a privilege to bring to you my writing on this Topic and trusting God to reveal and open our understanding to the things of the Spirit with no controversy because I have come to find out a necessity that things must be done and well interpreted in a Specific and a distinct way. We must not manipulate it, we must present it in a specific way not “anyhow”. We must not confuse ourselves and therefore confuse the Church.
I will not but Salute our comments and views been indicated above. I truly respect your writings and appreciate your view.

According to Oxford Dictionary, it defines purpose as the intention, aim, or function of something; the thing that something is supposed to achieve.
Oxford Dictionary explains Ambition as the desire or strength of mind to be successful, rich, powerful, etc.
Now, bringing both together as defined by Oxford Dictionary; They are both different things and not an Opposite word. They are both what is expected of something(man) to carry out. It explains Purpose as the reason for existence of something or someone, the reason why something or someone exist and the process and tactics needed to achieve a specific and a certain goal which can be concluded to be a man’s Ambition.
I am yet to answer the question, but we will accelerate soon….! Purpose is a process (even a gradual one) while Ambition is the result of the process been brought together.
Mathematically; Purpose is directly proportional or equal to Ambition; P…. = A
Therefore, I conclude here that Purpose is totally different from Ambition! Not an Opposite word and they are not necessarily dictated by a Subject (a man). Both is totally your choice base on what you want to achieve or what Ambition you are chasing.
Permit me to say this an Advice even while depending on our google browser to give us meaning to a subject, please do ensure that you stated the source of your question. Don’t just ask google what is Ambition but ask google what ambition means according to Oxford, Mackmillian, Wiki pedia and other trusted sources or else you will end up having both good and bad responses which is not in relation to your question and which is been posted by untrustworthy source or a blogger.
To the question in subject, in relation to Christianity:
Let’s accelerate now! I will try in my little ability to make things simple and well understandable as the Lord breaths and build us together..
In every kingdom there is always a SINGLE AMBITION and SINGLE PURPOSE BUT IN DIFFERENT WAYS!
Christianity as a Kingdom, we have a Single Ambition and the Ambition can only be meant by a Purpose but can now be in different ways… How? Ambition is always a reward of every diligent christian. Purpose is never God’s will for your life while Ambition is never a man’s will. In relation to Christianity; your Ambition is been dictated by God’s Purpose been made known to you.
In relation to Christianity, don’t forget!
Let’s bring in our Scripture Dictionary now; I will only make use of this two scriptural references for now
Purpose: “Ecc. 12: 13 …Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
Ambition: “Mathew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
From the above giving scriptural references, Purpose is said to be a specific pathways, rules, conducts and norms you have to put in place to yield to the Kingdom Ambition and mind you this attribute can be carried out in different fields in life. It’s very possible and even a must that your purpose (been your conducts, rules, specific pathways) is been implemented in your different fields/sectors such as Political fields, Educational sectors, family sectors and all other sectors in other that you may have an Ambition which heaven as defined by Mathew 6:33.
God can place you in an Academic sector to Fulfill an Ambition. So your Political, academics (if been directed by the Holy Spirit) they can and must be a process.
According to Mathew 6:33, it describes Ambition to be a reward, gain and crown for your Purpose. Purpose is what you do to have an Ambition. God can’t give you a Purpose (what is purpose? Ecc. 12:1;13) and Satan gives you an Ambition.. It is not possible!
Therefore, if your Purpose is in Christ your Ambition will as well be Christ as a reward. A purpose chases an Ambition and not different Ambition, different purpose. Even if you are a Politician now or a student (it’s not an ambition) you are expected to carry out a Purpose in the field for a reward or the incorruptible crown (1 Corinthians 9:25) which must be the AMBITION OF EVERY CHRISTIAN!
The question is this…… Your purpose can be carried out in different fields/sectors (Family, School, Political etc) but WHAT IS YOUR AMBITION? The Ambition must be (Mathew 6:33)
I conclude, Purpose is also your MISSION while Ambition is your VISION!
Finally beloved, I have a lot to say to you but Christian brothers & Sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things giving ourselves to Sound Teaching & Doctrine! which can be best done by been CONSISTENT in embracing Constant prayers and giving ourselves to the Ministry of Studying the WORD.
